Role and responsibility of the company directors
The role of the company directors is to manage the strategic direction of the company, guide and monitor the management of the business in achieving its strategic plans and oversee good governance practice. The company directors aims are to protect and enhance the interests of its shareholders, while taking into account the interests of other stakeholders, including employees, clients, suppliers and the wider community.
In performing their role, the company directors are committed to a high standard of corporate governance practice and fostering a culture of compliance which values ethical behaviour, personal and corporate integrity, accountability and respect for others.
Corporate environmental sustainability and social responsibility
ADS is committed to best practice with regard to environmental sustainability and social responsibility. This is demonstrated in the values that we embrace while actively involved in various activities we practice to promote sustainability within the workplace and the wider community.
ADS is committed to reducing its impact of operations on the environment – within the workplace and the wider community. This includes: the responsible acquisition, installation, use and disposal of ICT products & services so as to utilise resources more effectively, improve efficiency, increase productivity and reduce the environmental impact of operations; the reduction in energy & water consumption; improved waste management and responsible recycling initiatives; minimising commuting to workplaces and the use of public transport where necessary and; reduction in office consumables – paper & printer ink.
