Karen has a natural ability for thinking outside the square. From her early days in the graphics department at Channel 10, to office manager in one of Sydney’s top recording studios and on to the role of senior copywriter at Advertising Partners, Karen has vast experience in all facets of advertising and marketing. She is very much the communicator in the business providing the support and means for getting the message out there. Karen’s roles are many and varied, from Office and Marketing Manager to Company Secretary. She is also a qualified and experienced travel consultant, providing consultancy services to high profile companies like Flight Centre, Travel Associates and Escape Travel. |

Dirk graduated as an Industrial Chemist with a B.Sc. & first class honours. He went on to work for the Atomic Energy Commission and both Colgate-Palmolive in Australia and the United States. Returning home, he took up positions with Logical Solutions, Southmark and later with such household company names as Fujitsu, Compaq and Hewlett Packard.In more recent years, Dirk was responsible for the management of the terminal emulation strategy at SingTel Optus, and the creation and development of their Corporate Directory – the internal employee search and messaging system. He has been with the company for over 6 years honing his craft as an experienced FileMaker software developer. |

Rob graduated from the University of NSW with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. Subsequently he branched into the realm of computer engineering by first becoming a software technician for Chancery Software. Later he worked as a software developer within Optus, before contracting for Data To Go. He has been developing with FileMaker since 1997 and is responsible for a great number of diverse software developments over the many years he has been with our company. |

Vaughan has been developing and supporting databases with FileMaker Pro since 1993 and is a FileMaker Certified Developer. He has created mission-critical solutions for corporations including UTS, the ABC and Screen Australia. With tertiary qualifications in Adult Education and Photography, he is passionate about usability, functionality and design. He is a moderator at the FileMaker Forums web site, an active FileMaker TechNet member and has contributed to the shared library of custom functions available at the Brian Dunnings website. Vaughan is not only an experienced FileMaker developer, but an experienced business analyst and project manager. |

Walter joined the team having spent many years with a leading software development company in Sydney. He has extensive FileMaker experience and valuable website development skills in a number of technologies. He has worked on various accounts for companies and organisations such as: IC Frith Associates; SingTel Optus; June Cann Talent Agency, the National Crime Authority, the University of Sydney ICT and in recent months, Screen Australia. Among his other technical attributes, he is our FileMaker CDML expert – very useful when working on those projects involved in upgrading older systems from FileMaker versions 5 & 6. |
Malcolm Fitzgerald - B.Arts.Hons. FileMaker Software Engineer.

Having achieved a BA with first class honours from Murdoch University in WA, he went on to partially complete a PhD in research, prior to moving into software. Malcolm became interested in publishing & communication technologies, workflow analysis and user/computer interactions. He has been creating dynamic, interactive web sites that are based on FileMaker Pro and a combination of web technologies since 1995. His technical ambition is to make people happier and more productive through good design–by reducing user workloads and simplifying the working experience.Malcolm purchased his first computer when he was granted an Australian Postgraduate Research Award Literature and Philosophy in 1990. Fascinated by the underground network of BBSes and the amazing potential of the internet, he soon spent more time programming that writing essays. In 1995, using FileMaker Pro and AppleScript he developed a content management system for web publishing and began integrating web based databases with FileMaker business applications. From that beginning he moved away from academic research to work full-time as a software developer. |
